Southbank Printmakers Mini Print Exhibition
Online until 4th January 2026 (link)
30th September 2025 - 30th November 2025
I am thrilled that both of my prints were selected. “Who? Me?” is an image of a tiny pygmy seahorse. “Mandarin Fish Lovers” shows mandarin fish in a courtship routine. The artists’ evening provided a great opportunity to meet the other artists.
Recent exhibitions
South Hill Park Craft & Design Fair
15th November 2025 - 16th November 2025
This fair took place at the arts centre where I use the print studio each week. I was so pleased to talk to the two people who bought my prints, “What Shark?” and “Spot Me If You Can”. Obviously, one was a keen diver, so we went off on dive tangents!
Reading Charity Art & Craft Fair
24th October 2025 - 26th October 2025
I was thrilled to sell three prints at this lovely annual fair, including “The Elusive 12” and “What Shark?”. The first of a series of manta cyanotype prints also sold (soon to be available for sale on the website). 25% of the proceeds go to charity, the main beneficiaries being Feeding Communities (a project supporting local food banks and food share groups) and the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
South Hill Park Student Exhibition
19th July 2025 - 21st September 2025
Two of my prints were exhibited at this exhibition for students of South Hill Park Arts Centre. Two different printmaking techniques were shown: a spitbite etching of a manta, “Dystopian Manta”; and a linocut called “Mandarin Fish Lovers”.
Residencies
Ocean Virtual Art Residency
October 2025 - November 2025 (link)
I was so excited to be selected as one of nine international artists to take part in the fourth Ocean Virtual Art Residency, a project that is part of Unesco’s Ocean Decade. My project for the residency was to print a life-size manta, with a 3m wingspan. Some improvements to make, but you can see the prints created as part of the residence here.
Art Print Residence
April 2025 (link)
I love Katsutoshi Yuasa’s Mokuhanga prints, so I jumped on the opportunity to learn the technique from him at the Art Print Residence in Spain. At the residency, I created Viva Manta and Barcode Manta.
